It is general information for group owners, operations directors and marketing leads and is not dental, medical, legal, financial or insurance advice. We never give dental or medical advice, on this site or on a client's site. Decisions about a patient's care are for the patient and their clinician.

Articles and general information

Articles we publish here, and articles we write for client sites, are researched and cite their sources. They describe procedures, processes and questions in general terms and never a specific person's mouth, symptoms or treatment. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a recommendation for any individual. Figures are drawn from the cited sources at the time of writing and may change. Readers should consult a dentist about their own care.

The location and provider finder

The location and provider finder on a client site helps a patient find an office, its hours and its providers and send a booking request. It does not assess symptoms, recommend treatment or confirm an appointment. A request sent through it is an inquiry to that office, and the office decides how and when to respond. Using the finder does not create a patient relationship with the practice or any relationship with ChairsideWeb.

AI agents

Where a client's plan includes AI receptionist, chat or messaging agents, those agents describe the practice, take inquiry details and book appointment requests. They are configured not to give dental or medical advice and to hand anything that would amount to advice, or anything that sounds urgent, to a person at the practice. They are not a substitute for calling a dentist or emergency services.

Clinical claims and client content

Descriptions of services, providers, qualifications, memberships and accepted insurance on a client site are supplied and approved by that practice, which is responsible for their accuracy and for compliance with the advertising and professional rules that apply to it. We do not write outcome claims, success rates or comparisons of clinical quality, and we will decline to publish them.

Results

Every group is different. Examples of client outcomes on this site are illustrative unless they are labeled as a verified review. Our guarantees are set out in the terms and conditions and are limited to what is stated there.

This site links to third-party services, including hosting, scheduling, practice management and messaging providers. We are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
